The story is about seven great mages who sealed evil monsters underground, only for one to be released from the prison and start a new life. In the game, you can choose to play as the human, or as the monster. As the game progresses, you'll have to solve various puzzles. You can also interact with NPCs and receive quests. The gameplay is represented using the bullet hell mini-games. There are several different enemies you can encounter throughout the game, and their behavior depends on your actions. You'll have to think carefully about how you approach each enemy, because it can be either helpful or harmful. The monsters you'll meet will be different.
